Do you want to install Chess
Openings Wizard on a computer
that does not have internet access?

Or would you like to permanently
install Chess Openings Wizard so
that it never needs to access the
internet?

This is often referred to as "manual
installation."

Here's how:

Step One: Install the program.

As the program is available via download,
you may have to copy the installer to a CD
ROM in order to install it after downloading
the installer from a computer with web access.

When installing, you will need your Product Key.

The program will attempt to register and it should
see that there is no internet access.  (If the computer
does occasionally have internet access, turn the
internet off to force the program to go without net
access and then install the program.)

Step Two: Get the Installation Code

Chess Openings Wizard will give you an
Installation Code and ask for an "Activation"
code in return.

Step Three: Get the Activation Code

Next, use any computer that has web access and visit
this page with your Product Key and your Installation
Code:

  www.copyminder.com/activate.php

This web page will give you a short Activation Code
that you can type into the program on the computer
without internet access.

Step Four: Enter the Activation Code

Type the Activation Code that you got from the
web page into the program on the computer
without internet access.

Now the program (on the computer without internet)
will never attempt to access the internet.

The downside is that the Product Key cannot
be used on a new computer if you ever want to
switch to another computer.  It is permanently
registered to the computer without internet access.
