Not sure why Kevin Malloy had trouble with Bookup 2000 and your ebooks. I used Vista and now Win 7 with no trouble.

Also, we tried to reach you several months ago to explain we can't read posts in this blog. They flash by too quickly.

Last, could you post something on the forum outlineing your plans for it? There was a time you said it would be upgraded. Right now we can't access our profiles.

Hi Mike,

You write "But I’ve already gotten some excited emails from players who are doing just that."

Show us those testimonials then :-)

@WayneF

Hey Wayne,

I agree with you. And the results are bearing that out. More than a few players got back to me, skeptical that this could even work. They got almost no results. Others (some of whom have taken the Photoreading course) got back to me with thrilling results.

The results do appear to be tied to whether or not one believes it's going to work, and whether that belief is strong enough to hold out beyond the frustration phase.

@cl

Here is a link to the Topic "The Theory Machine and the Bookup Mission Statement" on the Bulletin Board. More background information is available.

http://www.chessopeningssoftware.com/forum-014/viewtopic.php?t=627

The Post here on the Technical Blog was something of an experiment. It spent some days in blog-pergatory before Mike Leahy approved it this morning. It is un-attributed (something buggy in the blog software/setup, I suspect) as are all of the other blog posts, but I wrote it.

I honestly have no idea at all what this post is about or what it has to do with COW/bookup? If it has anything to do with either and makes sense in this blog, can you reallllly dumb it down for me so that I can understand what it is you are going on about?
Thanks.
